Assistance Programs

Bags of Love
Feeding Children whenever they are out of school on break!

Our Summer Food Program, for families that need supplemental assistance to keep their children fed during the summer, went very well thanks to Kim Maddox, our program coordinator. Ms. Maddox coordinated our meal preparation teams and our delivery teams and created a smooth running, efficient machine!  In preparation for the 2014 program, we anticipated 850-900 lunches a week.

Our Help Us Help Them program received enough peanut butter and peanut butter crackers from Bell Plantation in Tifton, GA, to last the entire summer. This was quite a feat as our program continued to grow each week.  We ended the summer averaging 961 lunches every week for 11 weeks totaling 10,575. Thank each and everyone
that helped! God bless each of you.

2014 MSG Scholarship Recipient

We are very proud of the caliber of students that applied for our 2014 scholarship produced by the Forsyth County (GA) Public School System. The applications were reviewed in three categories:  scholastic merit,  community involvement, and financial necessity to determine the 5 finalist that would advance to the interview round. The scholarship was awarded July 19, 2014, at our monthly Dinner for the Hungry.  We wish you all the very best life has to offer..
